They're doing some construction up on 5th avenue, so yesterday afternoon we went to go see the backhoe.

 Leaning over to kiss the backhoe... Smooch.

Charlotte was kind of scared of the backhoe.  Not sure why Seb is kissing it.

More from Easter: after the egghunt, the kids had a bit of a singalong.

Easter egg hunt

The Easter Bunny came and brought easter baskets and hid some eggs, so Charlotte and Cyrus came over to help Seb hunt for them.

(What Seb is saying is "Cheese" -- which is what he says now whenever he senses that a camera is pointed at him).

bright spot thursday

I had an insane week and weekend of work, including Thursday, which is normally my day with Seb.  The brightest spot of the whole day was receiving a message on my phone with this picture:

"Official" last frost day was I think Wednesday.  That means it's time to put those plants in the ground!

Seb helped plant a couple poppies, the shasta daisy, some phlox, and an astilbe.  And seems to be a pretty big fan of sweeping up potting mix too.

Steve thought this was cute.  I think it's kind of gross.

 

But it isn't like he's just going to wake up one morning and know how to use a spoon.
