I've done it. I think I've killed the wedding hydrangea(s). At least the one in the planter in front. Maybe also the one in back. I know, they're supposed to look really bad this time of year, but I keep looking at all the other hydrangeas in the neighborhood, and none are so dried out and leaf-brown as mine.
It breaks my heart. And I guess we won't really know whether it's dead until the spring. All I can do is hope.
And I know how it happened. It was really hard to water when Seb was little and during those first few weeks when I wasn't supposed to carry stuff. Not that that's an excuse. I could have carried smaller cans of water. Or remembered to ask Steve to do it. Sigh.
Fingers crossed it'll make it to the spring.
This is how pictures have been coming out for the past month or so. I mean, it's kind of cool, but it does not look like Sebastian hanging out in his bouncy seat. Not even on crazy drugs.

Everyone (well, not everyone, but many of you) want to know how Enzo is doing with our new addition. He's taking it pretty well. Curious but not that interested. Likes that we do more hanging out as a family. Always wants to be in the same room as us and Sebastian. Climbs behind the glider when I'm nursing. Curls up on the round rugs in the baby room (aren't all round soft objects on the floor his for laying on?). Gets concerned if crying goes on too long. Basically, he acts like an uncle. So he got promoted. Before the baby came we referred to him as getting a "brother", but really, he's an uncle. Uncle Enzo.
